With so many venues throughout New York City, we are never really alarmed by new venues opening up. But when a gem like Elsewhere pops up in our radar, we have to share the good news.

Popgun, one of Brooklyn’s most recognized event organizers, introduces a 24,000 square foot warehouse space called Elsewhere. Designed for live music, the venue is fully equipped with a high quality sound system and top of the art video technology.

Elsewhere is actually three venues in one. The space will be divided into a 675 capacity hall, a warehouse flat, a smaller room called zone one that will cater to live music seven days a week, and a 500 capacity rooftop. Each of these rooms will have an entrance of its own allowing for multiple events the same night. But for bigger events they will allow customers to go back and forth between rooms.

Elsewhere has also announced the first round of shows, which include Anamanaguchi for a full-venue takeover on 11/10 with Stacey Pullen and Juan Atkins, Kolsch on December 5th. Octave One on December 22nd and many more to come. You can check out the full of shows — which also include TEED, Classixx, much more.
